Super-Spar
Spar Varnish
(SM-600C) is a government specification marine varnish that out
performs typical “dealer” brands in every significant
performance category. A superior formula that conforms to
government specification number AA-1800 so you know you are
getting the best! It utilizes the finest resins and UV blockers
available to keep your wood and metal marine surfaces protected
and beautiful longer.
Supermarine Spar Varnish
beautifies and protects marine woods while allowing the texture
and grain to show through. It produces a protective film that is
resistant to peeling and cracking on wood or metals. Excellent
for quick touch ups and repairing scrapes and dings on woodwork
topside or in the cabin. Apply it with confidence on teak, oak,
mahogany, and a variety of metals. It produces a clear natural
looking, semi-gloss protective finish. Use it on wooden decks,
doors, trim, in on paneling, cabinets and furniture. It can be
brushes, rolled or sprayed. Two to three coats or more are
recommended for best results on untreated wood.

Stats:
Intended for use on wood or metal surfaces. Coverage is
approximately 400-500 square feet per gallon. Best when sprayed,
however, it can be brushed or rolled. Dry to the touch in 2-4
hours. Recoat in 24 hours. Cleans up easily. Available in
Semi-Gloss. Available in quart or one gallon cans.
Recommended preparation:
Refer to Application Instructions Sheet included with order,
label directions and standard industry application practices.
For best results remove old varnish, paint, loose scale, wax,
oil and contaminates. All surfaces must be thoroughly dry and
free of contaminates before the application of Supermarine Spar
Varnish. Pre-clean metal with
SM-695 Etching Cleaner
or rusty metal with
SM-5679 Phos-Pro Rust
Converting Cleaner.
