Under contract to the Office of Naval Research, Hodgdon Defense Composites has developed the Mk V.1 High-Speed Composite Craft. The 83 ft. Mk V.1 - nicknamed MAKO - was developed to showcase the ability of high-performance composites to absorb the shock of wave impacts. They are now testing our SuperMarine Paints on the vessel.

I wanted to show you a picture of my completed Glen-L Riviera that was just launched on June 10. It is coated with SM1000 clear.

I need to share something else as well.  I painted the bottom in SM1000 as well in October Bronze.  I am having to increase the size of my prop to create more resistance on the engine.  The bottom paint apparently has reduced the normal friction of the boat as it moves thru the water sufficiently enough that it is causing my engine revolutions to increase above safe ranges.

Thank you for a great product

D. L.
