Supermarine Prop-Pro (SM-1050) is a quality high solids Direct To Metal (DTM) 100% acrylic coating that is fast drying. It is intended for use on marine thrusters, outdrives and propellers. It has good coverage, build with high gloss. It has many performance features including a high level of adhesion combined with good exterior durability, excellent hardness, good flexibility for better checking resistance, good flow out and leveling properties for spraying. It withstands abrasions and impacts well. The durable finish offers a high level of color and gloss retention. It is fast drying and easy to use making it well suited for production work. Covers 250 - 300 sq ft per gallon.

Stats: Dry to the touch in 15-30 minutes, dry to the touch in 45 minutes. Best when two or more coats are applied. Very high in solid content so thinning may be necessary. Custom colors available on request for an additional $10.00 per gallon. 

Recommended preparation: Refer to Application Instructions Sheet included with order, label directions and standard industry application practices. Old paint, loose scale, wax, oil and contaminates must be removed before application. Recommend blasting metal to near white or better.  

Recommended primers: May be applied direct to prepared metals. Prime aluminum and galvanized metals with SM-117 Pre-Wash Primer.

Thin & clean up: Use only with factory recommended thinner, SM-605 Synthetic Thinner.
