Supermarine Copper Bottom Paint
(SM-7000) keeps underwater metals clean and free of marine
growths longer because it peels off on a microscopic level as
the vessel moves through the water saving you time, work and
money. An ablative heavy copper anti-fouling paint that saves on
fuel and increases vessel speed by keeps surfaces smooth and
clean. Utilizes ablative coating technology to supply a
continuous supply of fresh biocides to the surface allowing for
a smoother slime free face without regular cleaning or sanding.
Copper Bottom Paint provides
multi season protection even after winter storage. Acceptable
for use on trailered boats, rack stored boats or on marine
surfaces in constant submersion. A premium anti-fouling
sloughing type bottom paint with cuprous oxide that provides
excellent protection against marine growth on all types of
surfaces. Extremely effective in preventing the accumulation and
growth of barnacles, marine worms and other fouling organisms.
Extraordinarily effective because it is approximately 80% solid
materials. Intended for use on wood, fiberglass, metal, and
previously painted ship bottoms. Recommended for displacement
type hulls with speed of less than 15 knots.

Recommended preparation:
Refer to Application Instructions Sheet included with order,
label directions and standard industry application practices.
For best results remove old paint, loose scale, wax, oil and
contaminates. Sand or scuff all surfaces prior to the
application of any primer or bottom paint.
Fiberglass, aluminum,
concrete, masonry and stainless steel, galvanized steel-
strongly recommend the use of
SM-695
Etching Cleaner.
All wood surfaces must be thoroughly
cleaned and dry before the application of primer or coatings.
Steel: Where rust is evident

SM-5679 Phos-Pro Rust
Converting Cleaner. All surfaces must be thoroughly dry
and free of contaminates before the application of any primer or
marine paint.
Recommended primers:
Aluminum,
SM-117 Pre-Wash Primer
in combination with
SM-7390 Formula 150 Epoxy Primer.
Wood:
SM-7390 Formula 150 Epoxy Primer.
Steel:-SM-7390 Formula 150 Epoxy Primer.
Thin and clean up:
For best results thin with toluol.
